Approximately 4 years ago, I saw a video on YouTube of a guy sitting for long periods of time in the most unusual position: a deep squat (that video is impossible to find now, or I’d post it). He wanted to prove to others that you could sit in that squat for far longer than the usual “up on your toes” squat that many Americans do. That was my introduction to the deep squat, which is extremely beneficial for hip mobility and flexibility.
